A: When your present hosting provider can no longer match the necessities of your website, or when you go through continual network downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the help desk team to respond to you, it may be smart to switch your web hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your web sites along with your databases from your current provider to your new provider. At adTrafficHost, we are aware that this can be difficult & time–consuming. That is why we will perform all that for you for free!Our highly competent technical team members will move your website content from your present provider to us. Our techs have extensive experience with web site migration and can handle anything – from a standard WordPress–based weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven website, to a very complex, custom–made web app.

A: There are a lot of aspects to take into consideration – the overall amount of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the current workload of our website migration experts, etc. Even so, we do our best to implement all web site migrations in a 48–hour window. Smaller websites are transferred much faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: We will require the login information for your old hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the web site’s name (domain name).

A: Customer privacy is one of our prime concerns – this is why, both our payment page and our Control Panel login page are secured with enterprise–class Secure Sockets Layer certificates. We employ safety measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and managerial procedures to secure the information that we acquire on the web. And we have a very detailed and rigorous Privacy Policy, which outlines the types of information that we gather.

A: Nope. Your site will stay accessible online during the migration. Once everything is done on our end, we’ll notify you so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything is OK, all you will need to do is update your domain’s DNS records.

A: Nah. Apart from your login credentials for the Control Panel, we don’t need anything. We will never touch base with your hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: We can migrate your web site from any web hosting provider or any Linux–powered hosting platform so long as we can obtain access to the Control Panel and there’s FTP access available.The only websites that we cannot migrate are those based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
